About us

The Sensory Transduction and Nociception Group is located at the Institute of Neuroscience (IN), a joint center of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the University Miguel Hernández. The research at the IN is mainly focus in understanding how the nervous system works. The core facilities of the IN incorporates state of art equipment in molecular and cell biology as well as functional techniques that facilitate research activities and the scientific interaction among different research groups. As a general objective of the IN, our group strives to provide a broad and rigorous training in Neuroscience.The IN is situated in San Juan de Alicante (Alicante, Spain) and it has been distinguished as a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence since 2014.
